About the author
Belle Aurora is twenty-something-years-old and was born in the land down under.
At an early age she fell in love with reading. Boredom one summer had her scouring the bookshelves at home. She stumbled across Sandra Brown’s Breath of Scandal and fell in love with romance.
Having been brought up in a loud and boisterous family of Croatian descent, she developed a natural love for dramatics and humor. Only some years ago had she discovered a new love.
Humorous romance novels.
Kristen Ashley and R.L. Mathewson had opened a brand new world where she could lose herself yet feel safe and at home in their stories. Belle has been known to become a screeching banshee while anxiously awaiting their newest titles.
Belle never thought she would write. It had never interested her until recently. Friend-Zoned began to form and in February 2013 Belle typed the words Chapter One. And she fell in love.
With words.
With writing.
With a creative imagination she never knew she harbored.
Friend-Zoned is the first in the Friend-Zoned series. Keep an eye out for this cheeky author.

What can I say about Connor Clash? He’s a walking contradiction. From the very beginning you can see that the guy has issues and he's one moody mofo. One moment he's a rude and crude jerk, and the next he's a sweet and adorable teddy bear. Connor doesn't let anyone get too close and he takes full advantage of the rockstar benefits. However, after peeling his layers we learn how tortured and broken he really is. We see that he constantly masks his vulnerability.
Emily is pure, innocent and unexperienced on so many levels. She's also very thoughtful and caring. I loved to see how she got out of her shell and began to enjoy the life. She may seem weak and insecure, but this girl is embodiment of strength. She proved more than once that she’s brave, selfless and kind-hearted.
These two didn’t have an immediate chemistry. Their first meeting was full of suspicion and cautiousness, but with time they both began to lower their guards and get to know each other better. Pushing each other buttons has evolved into seeking comfort. Mutual avoidance turned into need and dependency. I loved to see how their feelings have grown. Unfortunately, some things are hard to root out and Connor and Emily had many obstacles to overcome. But the outcome was worth the anger, disappointment and every tear.
Clash is an exceptional book. It shows flawed, troubled characters who overcome their fears and weaknesses and find love and acceptance in each other arms. It also exposes the world of fame from the other, 'ugly' side. This is a book that will both make you laugh and make you cry. It's full of angst, lovey-dovey scenes and heartbreaking moments. I fell madly in love with the Left Turn band and I need the stories of each member. Belle Aurora delivered a rockstar gold with this book!
The author gave us characters that were layered and tortured by the harshness of life. This isn’t just the story of a rockstar falling down the rabbit hole. It’s his story of taking control of his life, winning back the woman who owns him heart and soul, and finding true happiness. It’s also about a girl who came into her own and became a force in her own right. Two parallel lives will collide and it’s going to be explosive.
Connor is your typical, broody rockstar. Women, booze and partying. Their tour is about to start. His band, Left Turn gets a new assistant, Emmy. She’s tiny and shy. She’s going to be fun to torment. That’s how he rolls. She turns out to be nothing that he expected.
Emmy has not had it easy. This job was a lifesaver. She’s got her secrets, but she’s going to make a go of this assistant gig...no matter what.
The guys are not what she expected. It doesn’t take long for them to welcome her into the fold. It’s easy to love naive Emmy. She wins them over, all except Connor. That moody jerk is a challenge to even tolerate. He just loves pushing her buttons. That line between love and hate is going to be obliterated.
This is the evolution of Emmy and Connor. She’ll go from meek and scared to strong and fearless. A woman who does what she wants, but at her core is still that sheltered girl with a beautiful heart. He’ll finally find the one who will breakdown his walls and then he’ll hit rockbottom. He’ll be forced to face his truth and work to fix what he broke. Along the way hearts will be broken. But true happiness often comes after you weather the storm.
I absolutely loved Emmy and Connor. I cannot wait for more of their crews!

❝ Connor was a gun. I was the ammunition. Put us together, and you got something lethal, a weapon capable of doing unspeakable things, more specifically to each other.❞
This book was absolutely amazing! I laughed, I cried and I INHALED this book in one day. I couldn't put it down. Connor Clash made me want to dive into my kindle and throttle him, but I still loved him and was rooting for him and Emmy.
Every character within these pages was great. I loved the bond between Emmy and all the secondary characters. I laughed literally out loud during some scenes between her and the guys. Hand to God, I keyword searched "Fart" when I was done to re-read some of the funny banter haha. The author did a fantastic job with world-building and the chemistry she created within the book. It felt pretty damn real.
Being that this is labelled as the Left Turn series, I'm looking forward to the rest of the band members' stories. I cannot wait!
This book was so great I'm looking forward for more books from Belle
Emmy, such a pure and beautiful soul. Connor, a damaged and tortured one. Their tale is weaved with wonder and hope and then pain and heartbreak and there are times when you want to say, Enough!
However if you hang on and work your way through the hard parts you can find redemption and new beginnings. How they love each other is truly next level.
The side characters are integral to Emmy and Connor’s story and I really hope we get more from them.
I really love Ms Aurora’s books and cannot wait for her next instalment ❤️
